Bocce event raises $420 to provide local, sustainable fruit to Meals on Wheels recipients
Slow Food Alameda Charter Member and Meals on Wheels Director Rosemary Reilly addresses the crowd at the sold-out event this summer. The Italian American League provided the Bocce history lesson and instruction while Mona's Table cooked up the good, clean, and fair food for the 40+ attendees. Dan's Fresh Produce will supply the fruit for the Meals on Wheels recipients.
